C17th Farmhouse on the border of La Marche and Umbria

This very attractive farmhouse is an ideal destination for large families or groups. It lies on the border of Umbria and is located close to the beautiful Apennine mountain range. For those guests who ski, it as an ideal base for the nearby pistes of Monte Nerone during the winter months. The fully renovated 17th Farmhouse enjoys panoramic views over the nearby village of Apecchio which is noted for its fossil museum, its attractive medieval centre with the ducal palace of Ubaldini and the famous donkey-back bridge. Guests can find all the local amenities at Apecchio such as shops, supermarket, bank and restaurants. Many interesting historic and cultural centres such as the towns of Urbino, Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia and Arezzo, are also within easy reach.

Guests can enjoy the wonderful walks surrounding Valdarecchia, mountain biking and horse riding along the old footpaths in the woods and pine forests that surround the house. In season, guests can take trips to gather mushrooms and go hunting for the prized truffles in the area. Apecchio’s wonderful White Truffle Fair, which takes place at the beginning of every October is an event not to be missed!

The restored farmhouse comprises a large entrance hall with wood-burning oven, spacious kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace and seven double bedrooms all ensuite. Six extra single beds can accommodate children.
