In a superb position, this large country Villa rests in the hills close to the medieval city of Lucca. Segalato is a beautifully restored property, situated within the massive stone walls in the heart of the Tenuta di Forci, a working estate producing wine, olive oil, vinegar, pecorino and ricotta cheese, honey and grappa. On the wall of the house is engraved ‘1606, the year the first stones were laid. It is both spacious and cosy and the wonderfully thick walls keep the house cool in summer.

On the ground floor there is a large dining room with open fireplace, a spacious kitchen equipped with washing machine and dishwasher, and a sitting room with television. On the first floor there is a large sitting room, two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Up onto the mezzanine floor there is a twin room and small sitting room with bathroom and then on the second floor there is a very large suite with double bedroom and bathroom (which has bath and shower).

Outside, guests can enjoy the marvellous views of this beautiful countryside overlooking vineyards and olive groves; you can see the village of Pieve Santo Stefano in the distance, distinguished by its 13thC bell tower. There is a swimming pool with patio furniture.
