San Giustino is enchanting! A splendid early 18thC villa with its own private chapel, set amongst beautiful gardens with views towards Florence and Pistoia. Relax by the original lily-shaped swimming pool and walk back in time to an evocative era of rustic simplicity, yet elegant charm. The villa is situated in a semi-rural position and is within easy distance of the small village of Casalguidi with shops and restaurants. Florence is only 35minutes drive and the lovely market town of Pistoia only 8kms where there is a weekly market well worth a visit. There are three apartments at San Giustino, one housed in the main villa and the other two housed in a separate wing to the villa, one being the old kitchen quarters (and the C18th sink remains) and the other in what was once a little embroidery school. This was a flourishing industry in the area for many years.
Casa della Maria is a two storey apartment and comprises a kitchen (equipped with small oven and washing machine), living room, one double and one twin bedroom and a bathroom. (The bathroom has a sit in shower and is not suitable for the disabled or very elderly). There is a private garden leading through French doors from the sitting room with table, chairs and a barbecue. Casa della Pendola has its own entrance and is situated on the first floor and comprises a sitting room, large kitchen (equipped with small oven), one large double and one twin bedroom, both with views. There is a bathroom with shower and beautiful period furniture and unusual frescos adorn this apartment. The Villa apartment is situated in the main house on the first floor and sleeps six people. The rooms are very spacious with a bathroom, kitchen, one double and one twin room and another double room which adjoins the sitting room. Both this apartment and Pendola have their own seating area in the garden.
