Built as an oil mill in 1800 Villa Giulia has been faithfully restored according to its original, local architectural style. It lies at the foot of the slopes of Mount Qualandro on the border between the gentle Tuscan landscape and the green countryside of Umbria. The villa enjoys a beautiful panoramic position and is immersed in olive groves stretching right up into the hills; an impressive castle stands on the mountain in the background and a splendid view of Lake Trasimeno and the Chiana valley stretches out into the foreground.
There are two separate buildings on the estate; the master villa and a small adjacent villa. The master villa comprises on the ground floor a large sitting/dining room, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher and bathroom. On the first floor is a small drawing room, one double and one twin bedroom plus bathroom. On the second floor there is a further double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower. There are two double sofabeds in the living areas.
The small villa has a cosy living room with double sofabed, fully equipped kitchen and upstairs a double bedroom. Both properties have been furnished with carefully selected, elegant period furniture which has created an extremely comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
