Podere la Tesa is a very attractive villa situated just outside the beautiful village of San Gimignano. It is in fact the perfect example of a Tuscan country villa immersed in the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside, midway between Florence and Siena. There are ten acres of private land and numerous walks nearby. Oak trees, magnolias and pomegranate bushes surround the villa and the garden is perfect for alfresco dining. San Gimignano, the city of art is only 800m from the villa and the town is now recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage town, the first in the province of Siena to be awarded this recognition. San Gimignano offers a multitude of interests; history, art masterpieces, unique architecture (the towers) and beautiful landscape. Plus, excellent food and wine!

The villa can be rented as a whole for 8 – 10 people or as two separate large apartments. It has recently been restored to its original splendour and both apartments have been delightfully furnished to a very high standard and include many antique pieces of furniture and family heirlooms. The apartment Leccio is situated on the first floor but is only five steps up from the garden and comprises a large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and cooker, living room leading onto a balcony, one double and one twin room. There are two bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi bath. The apartment has its own garden.

Magnolia apartment has a large fully equipped kitchen with small oven, living room with doors leading onto the garden, two twin bedrooms also with doors leading onto the garden and two bathrooms. It is situated on the ground floor and has its own private garden area with tables and chairs. Each apartment has its own private entrance. Guest can also enjoy the lovely swimming pool in the garden, overlooking the olive groves.
