The villa is the core of the Azienda Agricola estate and stands in 2000 hectares of grounds. It is an ancient farmhouse (some of its structure dates back 2000 years to Etruscan/Roman times) and is part of a large agricultural estate in the hills around Siena. The property has undergone an extensive period of renovation which has beautifully restored all the stone facing. The views are magnificent from the villa and overlook Siena, Cetona and the Amiata mountains. Inside, the furnishings are lovely and very carefully thought out, maintaining all the rural atmosphere of the villa. The focal area of the house is the wonderfully spacious sitting/dining room with a huge refectory table surrounded by comfortable sofas. A magnificent fireplace dominates the room together with the large grand piano. Aside from the perfectly placed swimming pool for guests to enjoy the views, there is a gymnasium, Jacuzzi (seating six people), sauna and Turkish bath. Outside there is a large, walled courtyard with table and chairs for dining al fresco and around the pool there are ample chairs, loungers and tables. The villa is extremely spacious and is ideal for families and groups of friends to enjoy a wonderful Tuscan experience!
