Very close to the ancient village of Gavignano near Arezzo, stands Il Cipresso, a farm situated in 36 hectares of vineyards (producing an excellent red and white wine), and olive groves. The area Valdambra, lies on the edge of the southern Chianti mountains and is placed at the centre of the Florence, Arezzo, Siena triangle. From a historical, geographical and cultural point of view it forms a micro-region in its own right, rich in woodland, chestnut copses, pasture land, olive groves and vineyards. It is also an area comprised of fortified villages, fortresses and little castles which form the unique characteristics of the Valdambrian landscape.
The property is made up of four apartments; three of which accommodate four, five or six people and one accommodating two people. There is a large garden and guests can enjoy the beautiful swimming pool which is situated in virtually the most panoramic location in the area. The local amenities can be found in the village of Ambra only 1km and restaurants 2km. Guests can also enjoy wine tasting with the owner from his own vineyard and pick their own produce from the kitchen garden such as salad foods, potatoes, onions, herbs, plus figs and eggs.
And for those guests who enjoy shopping, there is the Prada factory only 15kms!
